Monster Door

October 8, 2012 By Stefanie

Thank you pinterest for the VERY fun Halloween decoration idea! My kids had a blast helping my husband and I turn our front door into a monster! All you need for this simple front door decor is:

  • Masking tape
  • Green streamers
  • 2 paper plates
  • 2 black construction paper circles

Glue the black circles onto the paper plates to make the monster’s eyes. Then take your streamers and head to the door. Using small amounts of tape, tape streamers to the top of the door at varying lengths to create the monster’s hair. Place tape eyebrows, eyes and mouth accordingly.

When you are ready to remove the monster, some of the stickiness of the tape may stick. To remove simply rub with WD-40 and a rag. You will need to rub down your whole door with the WD-40 because it will act as “polish” and clean the door. You don’t want certain parts of your door shiny and other spots not shiny, right?
