Leven Thumps

Any youth/young adult fantasy readers out there? Have I got a series for you!! Now, I know I’m one of the last to catch the Leven Thumps craze, but if you haven’t read them, you should. My mom went all out for Christmas; she got us all the complete set (5 books) for our collections. My kiddos aren’t quite old enough to sit through a book that has more than 20 pages and no pictures, but I read them on my own and was highly entertained the entire time! If you LOVE fantasy, these are for you! However, if you are on the fence about fantasy, these may not be your favorite…it IS pretty “out there.” The author, Obert Skye, has a crazy big imagination! (or some really good painkillers…) The characters are super fun and very likable. We get to learn and grow and laugh with them and I was sad when it ended. There is always a twist or a turn and somehow the hilarity just keeps going.  I love when I can get engrossed in a book! Well done Mr. Skye! Can’t wait to read what else you have to offer!
