Inclusive Fun at Landscape Structures Playgrounds

October 18, 2018 By Stefanie

This post was sponsored by Landscape Structures as part of a Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

One of my kids’ favorite activities is going to the park. We try to go as often as possible. Even when the weather turns a bit cooler we pack the sweaters and still enjoy the park. I also carry a blanket in our trunk to wipe down wet playgrounds after rain. We love the park!!

Our favorite park is called Antioch Park, it includes some incredible play equipment from Landscape Structures. This park is fantastic because it features elements that are age appropriate for all my kids, so everyone can enjoy the park. Providing inclusive play experiences is a goal for Landscape Structures.

I love going to parks that offer play equipment that is age and developmentally appropriate for each of my children. We have some big age gaps between my kids of 3-4 years. This means there are drastic differences in their abilities. I love a park that can accommodate all of those abilities – and even offer a little bit of a challenge to them.

Antioch Park features several play structures that range from toddler play on up. We had such a fun Saturday playing on all the different structures at the park, including some new ones recently added. Landscape Structures believes that through inclusive play, kids learn life lessons such as leadership, persistence, support and empathy. I have witnessed this in my own family. My older kids have become great helpers to the younger ones. They help them to play on the equipment that is a little too hard for them to do alone. They take the reins to be helpers all on their own without me asking. It warms my heart to see this as a Mom.

Check out all the fun we had using all the different play elements:

I would love to have a park close by us that would include all my kiddos ages, how neat!
