Spring is here and weather is warm. Summer is on its way, can you feel it? My kids sure can. I get a daily countdown of how many days are left of school. With warm weather comes all fun things like bike riding, pools, running through sprinklers and cool treats! This weekend we had a summer preview at my house with these Kool-Aid Fruit Pops.

During my weekly shopping trip to Walmart I saw that Kool-Aid has a NEW product. I stumbled upon a demo with some tasty samples. This new Kool-Aid product is called Kool-Aid Easy Mix liquid. With the easy mix you just add water and your Kool-Aid is ready! My favorite part about the easy mixes is that I can make either a cup of Kool-Aid Easy Mix or a whole pitcher full! It’s really awesome because I really don’t have the space in my fridge for a pitcher of juice most days. I decided to get all three flavors knowing my kids would think it’s a fun treat to have and knowing I could make some kind of frozen treat with them. Since it has 50% less sugar than the leading regular sodas, this seems like a better choice for my family.

Want to make a fun cool treat your kids will love? Here is an easy step-by-step tutorial on how to make these Kool-Aid Fruit Pops.

First gather your supplies.

This is where it’s fun to get your family involved. Let everyone picked out their favorite fruit to add to the fruit pops. Mix up a pitcher of one flavor, or a couple of cups of several flavors of the Kool-Aid Easy Mix. Each family member can make their own customized fruit pop full of the fruit chunks of their choice. Once all the fruit pop molds are filled with fruit, pour in your favorite flavor of Kool-Aid. Put the lids on your molds and freeze overnight. We made fruit pops with the Cherry, Grape and Tropical Punch Kool-Aid Easy Mix.

My kids had so much fun making and eating these cool treats. Our fruit pop molds have little straws in the bottom so not a single drop of Kool-Aid goes to waste. What’s your favorite flavor of Kool-Aid?

Thank you for sharing! This is definitely something the kids and I will be trying this summer. They go through frozen pops like crazy. Where did you find the popsicle containers? Those are really cute.
