So I completely forgot about my pizza stone when I wrote the post about my favorite yards sale buys. My sister and I went to a sale where a Pampered Chef Consultant was getting rid of her old stock to make room for new items. I bought a brand new 12inch Pampered Chef pizza stone for $10!! (They are normally $30 or more! Woot!) Pizza stones are amazing! If you haven’t tried them, you should!
One of our favorite quick and easy meals is “homemade” pizza. Since I am the poster-girl for lazy cooking, I use Pillsbury pizza dough. All I have to do is unroll it and shape it to the pizza stone. Then I add some pizza sauce- either from a can or just add some Italian seasoning to tomato sauce. I get the mozzarella cheese that is gooey and just glob it on the sauce, then sprinkle shredded cheddar around. Last, we add olives to part of the pizza for my oldest daughter. Voila! Incredibly easy and super yummy!!
