This past weekend we celebrated our soon to be two year old daughters birthday at Playdipity. I love Playdipity. Playdipity is located in Cohasset Massachusetts. It is a one of a kind place to play and pretend. About a year ago we went there for our first time during the huge power outage the east coast was having. They had power and we had a blast. As a teacher I appreciated the cleanliness and organization of the space. It was bright and colorful and had so many fun activities for my little ones to participate in. Each of the toys was classy and well made. They supported dramatic play, pretend and creativity. You could build, shop, eat, climb, slide, ride and more. It is the perfect place for a snow day, rainy day, hot day or any day. The two sisters who started Playdipity really thought each aspect of it through, from their classy logos to the colors on the walls it truly is a bright and exciting place. During the week they have free play drop in hours where parents and children can just come in and play. They have a kitchen area to prepare your own snacks and eat lunch. You could spend hours there!
As far as birthday parties go- Playdipity reserves Saturdays and Sundays for private parties. They have 3 different party options available to fit any budget or need. We elected for the Do it Yourself party. We provided our own food, paper goods, goody bags and theme decorations. This worked well for us to bring food specific to the time of day and what our children and their friends liked. It also allowed me to make my own cupcakes! Which I love to do! Playdipity provides two other party options where they provide a theme and decorations to match, goody bags, invitations, food etc. Its nice to have those options!
I invited 13 of our little ladys friends (ok and our friends too) and we had a blast. I was surprised at how many of them had not yet discovered playdipity! They were all so impressed and glad they had a new place to add to their lists of things to do in Massachusetts.
Our party lasted an hour and a half. This was plenty of time to play, explore and socialize. We elected to have our guests snack at their leisure since we weren’t having a meal. (We partied from 2-3:30pm) At 3:00 our party Coordinator gathered our guests to sing happy birthday and have cake with our little lady! We also took that time to get a cute group picture!
Having TWO party Coordinators was fabulous- I wish I could hire one of those at home for any event I have. They refilled my fruit and veggie trays, poured drinks, put up my decorations, placed my balloons and so much more. They helped the kids and were just so welcoming and fun! They even handed out my goody bags so I could just socialize and say goodbye. Plus I didn’t have to clean up at all=BONUS!!
Playdipity rotates through their toys so there are always new and different things to play with. There are tons of dress-up clothes, animals, dolls, cars, and more. I love that their are no specific characters but just generic themed toys thus allowing tons of imagination to take wing. Each child who attended the party couldn’t get enough. They moved from one thing to the next. As a parent who could be considered a little bit of a worrier I love that no matter where I am I can see my child. I hate when I go somewhere and feel like I can’t even talk to people because I am so worried about losing my child. They even have a little half door to the play area that you can only open from the outside (so adults can reach their hand over to open it but children can’t get out on their own- even bigger ones).
As if I haven’t made myself clear, Playdipity was the perfect place for a birthday party. They went above and beyond to make the day perfect and really knew how to make things run smoothly and take the stress off the parents. So if you want to party- look no farther than playdipity.
And if you just want to Play- head on over- local or not make playdipity a must do on your Massachsuetts list! Its well worth it!

Playdipity sounds like THE place to be. I love that they help take the stress out of the “behind the scene” party stuff for you. Planning a party, making sure everything is running smoothly – all while trying to visit with everyone can be super stressful. I love all the attention to detail it seems that they provide! Wish we had a place similar here in my hometown!

It is so nice to have a fun place to have parties away from home. I love having the mess someplace else and it give enough space so you can invite as many people as you want. Great choice!

This looks like such a fun place for a birthday party for your little one. Looks like they offer some nice toys too. And the place looks clean and well kept. Some birthday party locations are just not very clean!

Hey there! Do you know if they make any plugins to help with Search Engine Optimization? I’m trying to get my site to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m not seeing very good results.
If you know of any please share. Thank you! You can read similar art here:
