The other night I wanted a treat – an easy treat. We didn’t have anything around that I could just grab and eat so I had to make something. We had a boxed cake mix in my cupboard so I thought about making that, but wanted a little something more. I thought that perhaps I could jazz up the boxed mix. I decided an experiment was in order! Here is the recipe for my made up Gooey Caramel Chocolate Cake!
Gooey Caramel Chocolate Cake Recipe
1 Chocolate cake mix
1 jar caramel toppping
1 container whipped cream
Directions
- Make cake as directed on box.
- Pour into greased 9×13 pan.
- Drizzle caramel topping over cake batter.
- Bake as directed on box.
- Cool.
- Serve with a dollop of whipped cream and caramel drizzled on top! YUM!
