One of our favorite places this summer has been the lake. We go out and swim, barbeque and eat watermelon! We’ve gone with my sister and her kids and we’ve gone with Grandma and Grandpa. Their Uncle has also taken them a couple of times with their cousins.
We like to go during the week when it isn’t crowded and we have the beach to ourselves. We also have our pick of grills and picnic tables.
At our favorite lake, there is plenty of shallow water for the kids to play in and the sand is nice and clean. We can watch the boats, jet skis and water skiers from our perch. It’s been a fun, relaxing way to spend a summer day!
