From Hoarder to Consignor

August 25, 2015 By Stefanie

This post has been sponsored by #JBFKC but the story is my own.

Hoarding-Consigning
I don’t have many warm fuzzy sentimental feelings in my body. There is something, though, that I tend to be attached to – my children’s little clothes. Without really realizing what was happening I have stored all my kids clothes from the beginning of having children. As I knew the JBF Lee’s Summit sale was coming I decided to take a look at what I had to sell. What did I find when I looked around? 8 big plastic tubs of baby clothes. EIGHT people!!

I decided then that it was time to let go of baby clothes. I don’t know if I will have more children and if I do, then I guess I will just buy clothes when I need them. I decided not to hang onto clothes I didn’t know if I’d need ever again. Plus, the thought of earning a little money from these clothes was fun.

This is the very first time I’ve ever consigned at any sale so I’m very excited. With the help of the VIP Consigning program (an experienced consignor is tagging my items and earning a little extra through her efforts, while I’m taking a cut from my profits for convenience) my stuff is ready to go!

The Just Between Friends (JBF) Lee’s Summit Sale is happening THIS WEEKEND! I’m so excited. This year I skipped back to school clothes shopping and decided to wait for the JBF sale to get my kids all new clothes for this school year. I can’t wait to shop til I drop (and neither can my kids, they weren’t exactly happy to go back to school without new clothes).
