A few miles away from our home is a fenced in area that houses buffalo and reindeer. When we moved here people kept telling me I had to take the kids to feed the buffalo, but I never could locate these buffalo. Finally last week we found the buffalo! My kids didn’t really want to feed them, so my husband and I had a fun time getting close and feeding the buffalo.
Sometimes they aren’t always by the fence so feeding them isn’t an option. This time they were close and had their babies with them! They were cute… well as cute as a buffalo can be.
Do you have fun things like this nearby? Any unusual animals to feed by your house?
On a totally unrelated note, this makes me think of one of my favorite books The Gruffalo. We just recently saw that movie. It is so cute! Definitely a MUST read and see this summer!

My sister lives in Toronto, Canada and right in the city they have a working farm with goats, pigs, horses, chickens, ducks….you name it! You can even take the public transit system to it. We love going there.
