With Father’s Day around the corner I wanted to share a couple of my favorite products that help get Dad involved with the kids!
If Mom is nursing, sometimes Dad’s doesn’t get to be involved in feedings, with the Philips AVENT Manual Comfort Breast pump, Mother’s can pump milk so Dad can take over nighttime feedings or so Mom can have a girls night out. I love my manual pump. It is quick and easy and very portable. When I travel, I take my manual pump because it is light and easy to carry. The massaging petals makes a cushion that mimics a nursing baby encouraging milk let down for easy pumping. Just attach the Natural Nipple from their new Natural bottle line and the baby and Dad are set!
When I had my first baby we bought the cheapest monitor we could find. We were in college and money was tight so the fanciest thing about it were the lights show how loud the sound in the baby’s room was. When we opened the Philips AVENT Digital Video Monitor I couldn’t believe how nice it is! The camera is flexible to move and rotate the way you need it. It works as a camera during the day and has night vision for dark rooms. The camera is wall mountable for a more permanent fixture. I love the parental unit with its 2.4″ screen and controls. We can control the volume. It also has the ability to turn on lullabies on the camera to help if the baby is having a hard time falling asleep. There are 3 musical choices to choose from. The parental unit works from 500 ft. away which is very nice. Hand over the parental unit to Dad so he can be in charge of what is going on at night.
The Philips AVENT Digital Video Monitor SCD603 is available at Amazon.com, BabiesRUs.com, Walmart.com, Buy Buy Baby and Drugstore.com.
