Let’s Explore Oceans is an amazing educational VR experience that is a fun way to learn about different marine animals, and some issues plaguing our oceans. This is an incredible way to bring under the sea to life in your living room.
Setting up the Let’s Explore experience is easy. Everything is ready in the box! There are instructions for popping the goggles into place and how to insert your phone and putting it into focus. After downloading the Explore app and typing in the code from the box, you are ready to go! The little cube you see in the picture is the magical device that brings it all to life. In the Let’s Explore Oceans pack there are six VR adventures, four mini-movies and four AR experiences. By rotating the cube, which is really the menu when you have the goggles on, you can pick which adventure you are ready to be immersed in.
Our whole family enjoyed viewing the different adventures. Even my 3 year old who was a little hesitant at first, really enjoyed the mermaid story. It’s incredible to be instantly taken to the arctic or a shipwreck right in your own home. I’d never done a VR thing before so I was so amazed. When my kids were in public school they got to do it several times so they knew what to expect.
Some quotes from my kids about it –
“It’s the most awesomest thing you could ever do. The graphics are amazing. It’s way more fancy than any VR we did in school.” – 15 year old girl
“It’s fun learning, flearning!” – 11 year old boy (That’s my favorite!)
“I love the mermaid.” – 3 year old girl
Included in the Let’s Explore Oceans pack is a beautiful hardcover book showing the beauty of the oceans. It contains so many facts, pictures and information. It’s so bright and colorful and interesting to read.
I love that is such a fun activity for my kids to use, it’s really easy for them to use, and it counts as school! This would make such a wonderful gift for anyone really because it’s so interesting, informative, and immersive. You can learn more, or purchase your own Let’s Explore Oceans here.
