Confession: We don’t eat as many veggies as we should! That being said, I think that fact made me doubly love Door to Door Organics! Getting a weeks worth of veggies delivered to my door with any of the effort is wonderful! This service is amazing, let me tell you about it!

First, you get to skip getting dressed and hauling your kids to the store. All you need to do is sit down at the computer and shop for your groceries! Visit the Door to Door Organics website. First you choose what size box you want to receive and whether you want it loaded with all veggies, all fruit or a combination of both. I chose the smallest combination box. The site then tells you what produce will be included in the box and you can switch and trade things for other things. For example, I’ve never eaten Kale and I wasn’t feeling brave enough for it this month, so I switched it out for some broccoli. I also made a couple other trades. It was easy and fun to pick through what I wanted to receive. After all the produce is selected you can be done shopping and check out, or continue on to the store. Here is where you can add other things to your box such as breads, dairy, meat and much more! I decided to add a chuck steak to my order. I then checked out, picked a delivery date and waited excitedly for my box to arrive! Some of my friends subscribe to Door to Door Organics and they love getting yogurt and eggs with their produce.

Door to Door Organics is a subscription service so you are ordering the boxes of produce on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule. Rest assured you can always customize the contents.

When the box arrived we were all very excited to unpack it. The apples were immediately taken by my kids to eat. I snatched the cucumber for a lunch snack and I managed to get everything else in the fridge. The produce was beautiful! The steak was also very nice!

It was so easy to order the food and have it show up on my porch. The meat was packed in a special pouch with an ice pack to keep it frozen. You can also leave a cooler on your front porch for deliveries if you know you won’t be home. I LOVE this service and think it is a valuable business! You can end your weekly trips to the grocery store in one swoop by signing up for Door to Door Organics. Use code makingofamom for $10 off your first order!
