Disney’s FROZEN Movie Review

November 27, 2013 By Stefanie

Today is the day! I have been talking about FROZEN for MONTHS! During my trip to the Disney Studios Lot during my PLANES premiere trip we were treated to fun sneak peak of FROZEN. I was so excited about the movie that I talked a lot about it with my kids, getting them very excited! They even threw a FROZEN party with their friends to share some FROZEN toys and talk about the movie. I even attempted to make an Olaf Popcorn snowman – it was tricky but it turned out pretty cute if I do say so!

Monday night we were treated with a pre-screening of the movie! It was so exciting to be sitting in the theater in anticipation of a movie I have been looking forward to for months. From my sneak peak in California I knew the animation was beautiful and some of the songs already.

We were watching the movie in 3D. It took the theater a while to get the 3D adjusted just right which was really sad because we missed  the Mickey short “Get A Horse” it was all blurry and the lights were on. Once the movie started it also took a couple minutes to get everything adjusted but once it fell into focus all was well and the fun began!

Some of my favorite things about the movie were the songs. They are so cute. The soundtrack would be fantastic to own. The songs are ones that you will be singing along to while doing the dishes or in the shower. They are really great. My favorite song is of Olaf singing about Summer.

My two older kids LOVED the movie. They laughed and quoted lines all the way home. It really is such a fun story that is interesting for the kids. The characters are fun and some are surprising. My husband and I are definitely going to see it again without the distraction of our baby.

Some of my favorite characters were Kristoff and Sven who along with Olaf help Anna on her quest to talk to her sister Elsa about ending the eternal Winter on their kingdom of Arendelle. They experience a lot of adventure on their way up the mountain to find Elsa. The movie has a lot of action and suspenseful moments as well as some great comedy and some heart warming scenes. FROZEN definitely has it all!

Disney’s FROZEN is now in theaters! I’d love to hear what you think about it once you see it!

Oh and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
