Meet Boomer! He is an interactive dinosaur from Zoomer. Think dinosaurs are extinct? Think again. Boomer is a very real dinosaur that will interact with you and has a mind of his own! Although he has a remote control, you can control Boomer with hand gestures and at times he can’t be controlled. Watch out because Boomer does get angry and will chomp his teeth, roar and spin!

Boomer is part of Walmart’s Top Holiday Chosen by Kids toys and can be purchased for $79.88.

Boomer is rechargeable using a wall plug. Boomer comes with a cord for recharging, but you will need to provide the usb wall plug to use the cord. Boomer charges rather quickly I thought and was ready to play again. My kids love that they can watch Boomer’s charging progress and can get him out to play as soon as his eye are green, indicating that he is fully charged. The remote control requires 3 AAA batteries.

There are a lot of fun surprises in store for you with Boomer. He is a bit unpredictable so even though you may use the remote control, Boomer will do what he is going to do. If you pull his tail, watch out, he doesn’t like that. If you shake his head he might roar. Using true balance technology, Boomer can perfectly balance on his two wheels as we roams and explores.

Boomer has some bad habits as well. On several occasions when my kids were playing with him I heard some burping – from his mouth and his bum. One time I’m pretty sure he was burping a song. I don’t love toys that do that, but most of the time he just roars and gnashes his teeth.

Every once in a while we all get a turn with Boomer, but most of the time it’s this little guys turn. My toddler LOVES Boomer. He talks to him, carries him around and gets a tad scared when Boomer gets angry and charges him. It’s pretty funny.

Boomer has been a welcomed “pet” at our house. He is the perfect kind of pet also, no mess and you can turn him off! Boomer is a favorite all around!

Check out Walmart’s entire assortment of Interactive Toys at Walmart.com, including other favorites like Deluxe Light Up Flutterbye Fairy ($24.00 at Walmart) and LeapFrog LeapTV ($149.00 at Walmart).

Have you downloaded the Savings Catcher App that I keep telling you about? You can find all of the Chosen By Kids top toys on that app as well as save money from shopping at Walmart. Simply scan your receipt, Walmart scans local competitors and credits you the price difference, if they find one. Save up your savings and turn it into a gift card!

Are there any interactive toys on your shopping list? Or maybe even wrapped under your tree already?
