Cuddle + Kind: Dolls Doing Good

January 28, 2019 By Stefanie

I first saw Cuddle+Kind dolls a few years ago. I thought they were darling and was very impressed with their mission. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago when Cuddle+Kind reached out to me to help share their message with my readers. I was really excited at the opportunity. Check out Cuddle+Kind dolls here.

They have so many darling dolls it was hard to choose, but knowing my girls, I knew they would absolutely love Penelope the Flamingo and Zoe the Unicorn. Before the dolls arrived I learned more about the company. Cuddle+Kind was created by the Woodgate family who wanted to help feed the world’s children in need. There is two fold help provided with the dolls. First, the hand-knitted dolls are made by Peruvian woman who receive a sustainable, fair trade wage. Second, with every doll sold, Cuddle+Kind provides 10 meals to children in need by partnering with different organizations such as:

World Food Program USA School Meals Program

Children’s Hunger Fund

Orphanages in Haiti

Breakfast Club of Canada

WE Charity School Nutrition Program

The quality of the dolls is amazing. They are very detailed. We received the large size, and you can see compared to my 22 month old, they are pretty big. They are so soft, so squishy, and super cuddly. The squeezable dolls are definitely “heirloom quality” as Cuddle+Kind claims on their website. In a time where it seems products are getting made worse, these beautiful toys will definitely be ones to stand the test of time. I plan to still have them at my home when I’m a grandma – a very long time from now.

In the meantime, these girls are loving spending time together and with Penelope and Zoe. My toddler is always so excited to see the dolls each day when she wakes up. Her new friends accompany her throughout the day.

If you are interested in purchasing your own, incredibly made Cuddle+Kind doll, you can visit their website and shop around. Just know that on top of receiving a beautiful doll you will be helping children around the world. I love that shopping for a toy will leave the world better than it was before.
