Cricut Fun!

May 10, 2012 By Johanna

Okay Cricut users!! Time for you to chime in! I just got a Cricut and I’ve only just begun exploring the wondrous world of Cricut! So far, it has been super fun! I only have 2 cartridges, so I am limited, but here are my little projects thus far…

First, I made this cute paper doll. Since I have the Classic Font cartridge and the Playtime cartridge, I just used the same craft paper I used for my origami post. This cute little doll is made from 4 layers and my girls love her!

My next 2 projects were made with the sparkle vinyl I got from Pick Your Plum! In our bathroom, we each have our own drawer with our hair brush, Chap Stick, lotion, etc. The girls wanted their names on their drawers, so I had the perfect opportunity to use both my Cricut and my new vinyl! Look at those sparkles!

Last, we are saving up to take a trip to Worlds of Fun this summer! Woot! So I got an old jar from Grandma’s basement and we put some more vinyl lettering on it to keep up our motivation to collect change. (So far, we have a little over 2 dollars in it!)

Since I am a Cricut novice, I want to hear all about projects you all have made! What are your favorite projects?

Wow! What cute things you made. All with the circuit? I may have to look into getting one.
