Christmas Ornament Tradition

July 28, 2017 By Stefanie

SSC Ornament
Happy Christmas in July! I’ve seen a lot of store sales and companies wish me a Merry Christmas in July so I thought I’d pass it on to you. My family has a really fun Christmas ornament tradition that I LOVE and I love to tell people about.

Some people have beautiful trees with coordinating decorations and beautiful color themes. Not us. HA! We collect ornaments on our travels around the world and display them once a year on our Christmas tree. Our souvenirs wherever we go are Christmas ornaments. Our tree is mismatched and multicolored but I love the memories it provides. As we unwrap every ornament each year we talk about that trip and what we remember, what our favorite parts were, who was with us and that we wish we could do it again. Sometimes this spurs us getting out pictures from those trips to really relive it.

SSC-Ornaments

This year I will be adding these cute Strawberry Shortcake ornaments to my tree. The 3.5-inch blow-mold ornaments will bring sweetness and fun to any Christmas tree—and the sparkles in her eyes will brighten the season for the entire family. While I didn’t collect these from my travels, I did collect these from participating in the Strawberry Shortcake Ambassador program and that holds a special memory to me now. I also grew up watching Strawberry Shortcake so these ornaments are very nostalgic. If you love Strawberry Shortcake as much as I do you too can purchase these darling ornaments at the Christmas Place.

Do you have any fun Christmas ornament traditions? Or any fun memories of Strawberry Shortcake from your childhood?

We don’t have any holiday traditions, but I think yours are pretty neat! You get new ornaments for your tree, but also share about what they mean to you!

USA people commonly used Strawberry Shortcake cartoons. Strawberry Shortcake used in greeting cards published by USA Greetings. But i like your Strawberry Shortcake ornaments. Can you tell me where you buy?
