The theme of The Hundred-Foot Journey is that “every bite takes you home”. When I was growing up every Sunday we would have pot roast, mashed potatoes, corn, gravy and rolls. It was so yummy! When I grew up and moved away from home my Mom gave me the recipe but I have never been able to recreate it just like hers when I was growing up. I think it was Mom love sprinkled in that I just can’t copy.
