Kansas City Temple
This post is overdue by about a month! Our trip to the temple was so nice! The girls behaved like the angels I pretend they are. Our pictures didn’t turn out wonderful because the sun was super bright and it was too windy to keep our dresses from blowing away. But, I got some cute shots of the girls at the fountain which was their favorite part outside. They were so excited when I told them they got to go inside the temple- since they are not old enough to go in normally, an open house (before … [Read more...]

Strawberry Pretzel Dessert
Every once in a while, we each stumble across a great recipe that we promise to continue creating until perfection for countless days. However, as soon as a new treat comes along, we stick the old one into a box and rarely look back. A few weeks ago, I was reminded of a delicious recipe that returned to my life through a newspaper sidebar. My children remembered this delicious strawberry pretzel dessert and insisted that I make it again. Having not created this dish for several years, my family … [Read more...]

Easter Decor!
Since we got a jump-start on our egg dying, I went through BHG and picked out my favorite decorating ideas. I tweaked different ways of egg-dying and different décor ideas to turn them into projects that I thought we could do with supplies that we already had.The first idea is natural died eggs on a cute egg tree! We blew out our eggs by poking a hole in each end and blowing. (Super gross and messy!) Then we tried to dye our eggs from natural ingredients. To make lavender, mix 1 cup of grape … [Read more...]
