Alexander… Hilariously Funny for the Whole Family

Alexander Bad day
Have you ever had a horrible day? Not where one thing went wrong, but EVERYTHING goes wrong? Well get ready to watch one terrible, horrible day. Last week my family was able to go see Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day at an early screening. We were so excited to go to the theater and check out this beloved children’s book turned movie. With some favorite actors (Steve Carell I love you!) we had high hopes!

This movie did not disappoint. It is rated PG and I would concur that it is very family friendly. In tow to our trip to the theater was an 8, 5, and 1-year-old. With the help of popcorn, my kids did fantastic and lasted the entire movie without incident.

I, personally, thought the movie was hilarious. I laughed, really loud, and often. The acting was superb, even by the “children” in the family. The characters were funny and relatable! I definitely recommend putting this on your must see movie list!

DVD Alexander
I LOVE that Dick Van Dyke was in the film. Though it was just a few scenes, it was hilarious and appreciated. I grew up watching him, love him so much and appreciate him being in this film so much. Trust me when I tell you that the part of the movie with Dick Van Dyke is hilarious!

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day has such a wonderful message of family love, support and togetherness. I really, really love how the family was portrayed and the resolution of all the problems.

I loved this movie so much and am so excited for everyone to see it. And I’ll leave you with this clip:
