Are you wondering how you can start making extra money while working from home? Believe it or not, there are a ton of jobs out there that don’t require you to leave your living room. The key is finding those jobs and making them work for you to help you earn extra money. Check out these five ways to make extra money while working from home.

#1. Transcription- There are tons of companies out there who will hire you to do transcription for them. However, you have to be good at transcription. This seems to be one of those skills that people either love or hate.

#2. Writing- Sites like Textbroker will hire you to work from the comfort of your own home. You can make extra money with little effort. It’s best if you are already proficient at writing because Textbroker does require you to know what you’re doing.

#3. Mystery Shopping- Mystery shopping is s great way to earn extra money, you just need to find the company that’s right for you. Trying different mystery shopping companies is one way to see which company you prefer. They’re not all created equal and you will find that out as you try different shops with them. Mystery shopping does have a great reputation and it’s an awesome way to make extra money.

#4. Search Engine Evaluation- Places like Leapforce will hire you to do search engine evaluation for them. This is a bit harder job to get into, but it pays really well. Search engine evaluation comes down to you rating websites. Some say that the test to take this job is incredibly hard, so make sure you study for it.

#5. Social Media Moderator- Companies hire social media moderators to monitor their social media pages. Just doing a quick search on Indeed shows a ton of jobs. Just make sure you’re applying for a freelance position and not an on sight position. There’s a huge difference.

Bonus idea: #Selling Old Electronics

Another great way of making money from home is selling some of the old things that you don’t need and electronic items are a brilliant start. We all have old smartphones, tablets, games consoles and macs that we class as redundant or are in drawers gathering dust. Well these items, even if broken ,have a value and the best place to sell them is the US’s No1 trade in site SellCell.com.  The site compares 30+ of the largest phone buyback companies in the US and therefore always finds the user the very best price for their old device. Not only that the company helps you save money by also offering a price comparison on pre-used & refurbished devices saving you hundreds of dollars on the best deals as an alternative to a much more expensive brand new phone.  Whether you are selling or buying a phone you will always be guaranteed to save money!

It’s wonderful to have the power to make extra money from the comfort of your own home. Sometimes we feel powerless when it comes to making money, but these 5 ways to make extra money are legit and totally worth trying. What I love about these five tips is that they are all really different, so if you don’t find what works for you, there are many options!
