I have a hard time being creative so I search for creative things on Pinterest, or I ask my blogger friends for their unique ideas they have blogged about. I was recently thinking it would be fun to find unique ways to use Christmas lights. I am feeling crafty so I went searching for ideas. First you’ll need a supply of Christmas lights to use, or take apart and create with.I’ve teamed up with Christmas Lights, Etc and they are having a spring sale where they are up to 40% off right now, so that would be a good place to shop for some, if you need some.
Glitter Bulbs
This is a great use of burned out bulbs, but you can use new ones as well. To create glitter bulbs it is as easy as painting the bulb with glue and sprinkling on your favorite color. Once all the glue is dried, carefully place all the light bulbs into a glass container to display as a center piece or on a side table. This is an elegant and subtle decoration.

Party Lighting
A few months ago I wrote a post on how to use Christmas lights year around. That mostly focused on using them for different parties. Basically for somber occasions like wedding white twinkle lights are perfect. For a little girl’s birthday party, colorful Christmas lights would be a lot of fun. Christmas lights in different colors, sizes and forms can really enhance your party!
