5 Reasons Your Baby needs a Safety First Grow and Go Ex Air Car Seat

June 2, 2016 By Marybeth

I received free product from Safety 1st for review purposes. All opinions are my own.

Grow and Go
We were pretty excited when our new Safety First Grow and Go Ex Air 3 in 1 carseat arrived!  But no one was more excited than our now one year old (Ok maybe Mom was- carting those infant car seats around with a 20 plus pound baby is not an easy task).  We were both very excited.  Here it is- 5 reasons why your baby needs this car seat!

  1. Easy from the start– I was so surprised at how easy this car seat was right out of the box. There was no assembly needed- it was all ready to go and easy to put in the car. Plus I love the QuickFit™ Harness for easy adjustment of both harness and headrest in one simple step.
  2. Storage-I love the double cup holders. Its so nice to be able to put toys or snacks in one and a bottle or sippy cup in the other. (While I was writing this my husband asked, “Did you mention the double cup holders because that’s boss!”. Yup there you have it folks!! Totally boss which is what every baby needs)
  3. Comfort– I have had car seat in the past that leave marks on my babies backs. I feel so bad and think there has got to be a problem with this. This car seat is incredible.  It has so much padding (Superior safety with Air Protect®) to support even the tiniest babies to the biggest of toddlers.  Even without the added padding the seat is so soft. I feel like this little guy is at a deluxe movie theater lounging in the back of our minivan.
  4. Safety– I don’t worry about my baby in here. Along with all the padding there are so many safety features. I love the large head supports and the soft thick padding on the sides, back and bottom.  When I put the car seat in and used the recline to set it just right I was surprised how secure it was with the anchors from the very beginning.  It didn’t require a lot of crazy manipulating and stunts to get it to seem just right.

  5. The view– I have felt in the past that a lot of convertible car seats really have a limited focal view of the sides of the baby. Our daughter is in the bucket seat beside the baby and he has a great view of her- I know this because they are always laughing and talking and passing treats!!  It’s pretty adorable.  I am really glad they can interact like this and that he doesn’t feel isolated in a ridiculous car seat with blinders!!!

grow and go 2

As you can see from the pictures we let the little guy have some free climbing time in his seat- he is pretty happy with his new recliner! You would be too!  Trust me!

So get your baby a Safety First grow and go ex air because they deserve the comfort and safety and you deserve the peace of mind.
